After graduating from the University of Montreal in 1976, Diane was a student of L’Ecole Des Beaux Arts in Paris. Since then, she has combined a career in teaching and painting and now lives in Vancouver Island of British Columbia. A contemporary style, vibrant palette and unique perspective characterize her paintings.

Currently Diane’s work is on display at the Casapedia River Museum. Having wondered many of the rivers on both coastlines, Diane is passionate in her representation of the essence of Fly Fishing beyond the traditional perfect loop and posed. Diane relates to rusty pick-up trucks, snazzy tackle, fishin’ dogs and naps on the bank as significant moments that bring us back to the river.
