Michael Simons
is a talented artist. He paints watercolors of beautiful Brook Trout and captures their beauty in his art. He applies watercolor to a brook trout pencil drawing in his home studio in Midothian. Here are a pair of Westlope cutthroat trout feeding on pteronarcis stoneflies on the surface and below. This watercolor was commissioned by American Wildlands, a Bozeman, MT conservation organization to raise awareness of the endangered cutthroat.
