Serial #280M9. Medium fast dry fly action. Former owner's name marked
on butt section. Rod was built in 11/80. Blued nickel silver rod ferrules, maker's custom ferrule plugs.
Wrapped in clear golden silks, tipped in brown. Glass-like varnish finish. Cigar cork grip with bright nickel
silver slide band and butt cap with Walnut wooden reel seat. Rod comes packed in blue cloth rod bag and stored
in original aluminum brass collared rod tube. Ed was from Long Island and spent time with Hoagy Carmichael
learning how to build rods. Ed was a very fine Craftsman. His rods don't appear on the market very often.
