Medium fast dry fly action. George Halstead built only 600 rods in his lifetime before his death in 1961.

He designed ferrules and reel seats for the Payne Rod Co. early on. Very nice heat treated bamboo.

Blued nickel silver rod ferrules. English Reverse twist snake guides. Agate stripper guide.

Cigar cork grip with bright anodized aluminum stamped down-locking
reel seat with Walnut wooden reel seat spacer. Rod was refinished at some point and

done very nicely. Rod comes packed in original brown cloth rod bag and stored in original

brass capped rod tube. Rod is in excellent refinished condition.

Halstead rods are rare and Highly sought after. $1695.
