This rod comes in wooden rod form, Bright nickel silver rod ferrules.

Wrapped in burgundy silks with full burgundy intermediates. Detachable grip and reel seat

with full sheet cigar cork grip with bright nickel silver slide band reel seat.

Rod comes packed in aluminum rod tube. with label marking "Joan Salvato".

I believe this was Joan's 1st fly rod.?
